Marble murtis, carved by hand in Jaipur

White and black marble deity statues, finished in gold and silver work — and commissioned pieces made to your size, finish and design.

त्वमेव माता च पिता त्वमेव

You alone are mother, and you alone are father.

A murti is not an ornament. It is a presence you make room for — which is why every one of ours is carved by hand, never cast.

The material

Makrana marble, worked the way it has been for centuries

Makrana is the marble Rajasthan is known for — dense, fine-grained, and bright enough that carved detail holds its edge instead of softening. It is the stone the Taj Mahal was built from.

It is also unforgiving. A single deep cut in the wrong place and the block is finished. That is why the work is slow, and why it is still done by hand.

  • Single-block carvingEach murti is cut from one piece. No joins, no resin filler, no casting.
  • Hand-finished detailJewellery, drapery and features are worked by hand after the form is carved.
  • Gold and silver workApplied by specialist artisans, piece by piece.

Each murti is hand-polished, and painted or antique-finished per the customer's preference.

Commissions

Have one made for your mandir

Most of what leaves the workshop was made for someone specific — a particular height for a particular niche, a finish chosen to sit with the room, a deity not held in stock.

If you cannot find what you are looking for on this page, that is usually the reason to commission it rather than settle.
