White Marble Swaminarayan Murti with Gold Detailing — Jaipur

Bhagwan Swaminarayan standing in the blessing posture, the raised right hand in abhaya mudra. The turban, angarkha and jewellery are picked out in fine gold work over white marble.

The detailing here is the point — the layered turban, the pleating of the robe and the border patterning are all worked by hand after the form is carved.
